FSO Cendor is located 140 km from the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia at block PM-304 ( Cendor field). The field is operated by Petrofac Malaysia Limited (PML) and the facilities consist of a Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) and a Floating, Storage and Offloading vessel (FSO).

FSO Cendor is owned by MISC Berhad, but is operated by FPSO Ventures Sdn Bhd (FVSB). Conversion work, undertaken by MMHE, took place between October 2005 and September 2006.

The FSO was towed out and installed in the Cendor field in early September 2006. First oil was received from the MOPU on 23rd September 2006.

The FSO is spread moored at a water depth of 72 meters. She has 7 storage tanks with maximum capacity of 75,000 cubic meters and is equipped with facility to tandem moor offtake tankers at her bow and stern. Her designed loading rate is 30,000 bbl/day, and offloading rate is 14,000 bbl/hr. The FSO is designed to accommodate tankers of between 60,000 and 150,000 SDWT.
